Hello! My name is Tina Ye, perhaps better known as “tinabeans.” I make my living as an interaction designer in New York City.

I am fascinated by words—the stuff of conscious thought and experience. I write to understand what they’re capable of, so that I can be capable of more. Something about learning to think more clearly, precisely, and inventively. Something about having the capacity to remember what’s important down the road.

This is all to say, I write mainly for myself. But if you are the type that likes to wander the internet in search of quiet, personal corners, then I write also for you.
